Terms & Disclaimer

Legal information and important disclosures

Overview

Continuum Search Group provides platform-agnostic recruiting and advisory services to financial advisors exploring career transitions. These terms outline the nature of our services, our business model, and important disclosures.

By engaging with our services, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. Last updated: July 25, 2026.

Nature of Services

Recruiting Services: Continuum Search Group provides recruiting, advisory, and transition support services to financial advisors. We help advisors evaluate career opportunities across broker-dealers, RIAs, and other financial services platforms.

No Fiduciary Relationship: We are not acting as your fiduciary, attorney, tax advisor, or financial planner. We recommend consulting with independent legal, tax, and financial professionals before making any career transition decisions.

Platform-Agnostic Approach: While we maintain relationships with multiple financial services firms, we are not affiliated with or owned by any single broker-dealer or RIA. Our business model is designed to prioritize advisor alignment over firm preferences.

Compensation Model

We are typically compensated by hiring firms if a placement occurs. Advisors are not charged a fee by Continuum Search Group for engaging with us or for being presented to firms. Specific compensation arrangements may vary by engagement and by firm and are available on request.

Confidentiality

Advisor Privacy: We treat all advisor conversations, data, and exploratory discussions as strictly confidential. We will never contact your current firm or disclose your interest in exploring opportunities without your explicit written permission.

Information Sharing: We only share your information with firms you have explicitly approved for introductions. All initial conversations can be conducted anonymously until you are comfortable proceeding with specific firms.

Website Privacy & Business Outreach

Information We Collect: We collect information you choose to provide through forms, email, scheduling tools, assessments, and other communications. Our website also receives standard technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, referring page, and website activity.

Business Visitor Identification: If you select “Allow,” we use AdvizorPro TrafficIQ and Leadsy to help identify businesses that engage with our website. These providers may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies and may process IP address, approximate location, device and browser information, referring source, pages viewed, and visit activity. They may match that activity with business or professional contact information. We use the resulting information to understand business interest, improve our services, maintain business records, prioritize outreach, and send relevant business-to-business communications.

Your Choice: You may turn business visitor identification off at any time through the “Privacy choices” control in the footer. We also treat a supported Global Privacy Control signal as a request to keep visitor identification off. Declining stops these tools from loading on future page views; it does not automatically delete information collected before the choice was changed.

Business Outreach: We may use professional contact information obtained from public sources, data providers, referrals, information you provide, and permitted visitor-identification results to contact people about services we reasonably believe are relevant to their professional role. Commercial emails identify Continuum Search Group and provide a way to opt out. We maintain suppression records so that we can honor those requests.

Outreach Measurement: Links in business outreach may include campaign labels and a keyed, non-reversible recipient identifier. The identifier does not contain an email address. We use it to understand which outreach led to an engaged website visit or submitted inquiry, connect that activity with our business contact record, and measure campaign effectiveness. Automated email-security visits can occur, so a link request by itself is not treated as a qualified lead.

Sharing and Sale: Continuum does not sell personal information. We disclose information to service providers that support our website, communications, analytics, visitor identification, scheduling, hosting, security, and business operations; when required by law; or in connection with a business transaction. Service providers process information subject to their agreements with us.

Advertising Measurement: When you submit a form after engaging with our advertising, we may use advertising click identifiers and a one-way hashed version of contact information, such as your email address, to measure whether an advertisement led to a qualified business inquiry. We disclose those measurement signals to Google and similar advertising service providers for attribution, fraud prevention, reporting, and campaign improvement under their agreements with us. We do not send your form message for this purpose.

Retention: We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, to maintain opt-out and suppression records, and to meet legal or business obligations. We then delete or de-identify it when reasonably practicable.

Your Requests: Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we maintain about you, or object to business outreach, by emailing rick@continuumsearchgroup.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Email opt-outs may also be submitted through the unsubscribe method in a commercial message.

Disclaimers

No Guarantees: We cannot guarantee specific outcomes, compensation packages, or transition success. Firm decisions, regulatory approvals, and client retention are outside our control.

Economic Modeling: Financial projections and economic modeling we provide are estimates based on available information and assumptions. Actual results may differ materially from projections.

Regulatory Compliance: Advisors are responsible for ensuring their transition complies with all applicable regulations, including FINRA rules, state securities laws, and contractual obligations. We recommend consulting with legal counsel.

Information Accuracy: While we strive to provide accurate information about firms, platforms, and opportunities, we cannot guarantee the completeness or accuracy of all information. Advisors should conduct independent due diligence.

Advisor Responsibilities

Accurate Information: Advisors agree to provide accurate information about their practice, production, and circumstances to enable effective evaluation and matching.

Legal Compliance: Advisors are responsible for complying with all contractual obligations with their current firm, including non-solicitation agreements, notice periods, and protocol requirements.

Independent Judgment: All career decisions remain solely with the advisor. We provide guidance and support, but advisors must exercise independent judgment in evaluating opportunities.

Limitation of Liability

Continuum Search Group's liability is limited to the direct services we provide. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from career transitions, including but not limited to:

  • Client retention issues or asset loss during transition
  • Legal disputes with current or former firms
  • Regulatory actions or compliance violations
  • Changes to compensation, benefits, or firm policies after transition
